At NBS, we’re committed to continuous improvement, ensuring our platform evolves to meet the needs of manufacturers and specifiers alike. Our 2024 Product Development Updates bring a host of enhancements designed to improve usability, increase transparency, and drive engagement across our platform.
Enhancements for RIBA CPD
The refreshed RIBACPD.com and integration with NBS Source and Chorus enhances the visibility of CPD content, improving engagement with specifiers. The CPD approval process is now integrated into the NBS Partner Platform, simplifying the tracking of approvals, ensuring a smoother and faster experience for manufacturers.
BIM Object Standard Enhancements
BOS-compliant BIM Objects now receive improved search filtering and enhanced visibility within the BIM Library. Products meeting the BOS standard will be more prominently featured, helping manufacturers differentiate their offerings and increase specification rates.
Sponsored Content and Analytics
We launched sponsored content and sponsored content analytics gives you a deeper understanding of your marketing effectiveness. The update allows you to track the ROI of your sponsored content campaigns within the platform and optimise content to maximise specifier engagement.
Sustainability Reports
Manufacturers can now consolidate sustainability credentials in a dedicated tab within the brand overview section. This offers a compelling way to showcase sustainability initiatives and certifications, helping specifiers choose brands whose environmental commitments align with their projects.
Embodied Carbon Value Validation
Manufacturers can now enhance the credibility of their sustainability claims by validating embodied carbon data against official EPDs. This reassures specifiers that product data is accurate and independently verified, strengthening trust in your brand.
Industry Average CO₂ Emissions
Manufacturers can now highlight how their products compare to industry averages for embodied carbon and recycled content at Product Category Levels 3 and 4. This added transparency helps specifiers make informed decisions while positioning your products as sustainability leaders.
Archived Content
Manufacturers can now ensure specifiers have access to the most up-to-date product information at all times. Archived content will be clearly marked, reducing outdated specifications and guiding users to the latest product versions, improving accuracy and brand perception.
Linking with Glenigan
Manufacturers with a dual subscription to NBS and Glenigan can now quickly identify their specified products on associated projects in Glenigan through NBS Intelligence. This enhancement streamlines access to project information, making identification faster and more efficient.
