The two brands are respectively renowned by built environment professionals for delivering exceptional levels of industry insight and expertise, and are collaborating to offer manufacturers in the sector an enhanced proposition.
Sitting under the umbrella of the globally-recognised Byggfakta Group, one of Europe’s largest construction data providers, NBS and Glenigan’s 6,000 customers stand to reap myriad benefits.
Significantly, the move aligns two robust, and highly powerful data-sets, which map project activity across the construction timeline. The blend of NBS’ detailed specification and product information and Glenigan’s extensive project information offers manufacturers a powerful set of insights, which can help them to increase their exposure and improve the way they target their products.
Under the new partnership the two organisations will initially collaborate to develop their offering to new and existing customers, as well as exploring opportunities for data integration.
To support the announcement, and share more information about the partnership, the two brands will jointly host a webinar for manufacturers: 'How the NBS & Glenigan partnership helps manufacturers’ on 9th June which will be available to view on the NBS website thereafter. They are encouraging all construction manufacturers to attend the session, and gain a better understanding of the collaboration’s full benefits and what it means for them.
Commenting on the agreement, Colin Smith, Executive Chairman, NBS, said: “This partnership represents a milestone for NBS, Glenigan and the wider Byggfakta Group. It’s a new bond between our businesses which will give manufacturers even greater exposure to construction projects. From early-phase design and specification, through to planning and into construction, our clients can gain access to insight at all stages in the timeline. This will also offer manufacturers improved forecasting to support with demand planning.” He continues, “Our initial focus will be on developing our joint offering to manufacturers. We’ll be demonstrating how to harness Glenigan’s accurate project lead insight data, together with the NBS specification and product information, to help manufacturers drive sales and identify nascent business opportunities.”
Victoria McEwen, Glenigan’s Chief Executive Officer adds: “This collaboration marks an exciting time for both companies, mutually strengthening our platforms and improving customer experience across the board. The quality of our sales lead data is second to none, and it’s an area we pride ourselves in. For our own userbase, it will be great to take advantage of NBS’ extensive ability to reach specifiers, giving them an additional level of insight, they previously didn’t have access to.”
