NBS recently hosted the Construction Leaders' Summit for over 250 architects, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The event was dedicated to sharing the latest developments in building safety, sustainability, and digital transformation within the construction industry.
Andy Leggett, Area Technical Manager, Nigel Blacklock, Technical Director, and Tom Raftery, Solar PV Product Manager from flatroof manufacturer Bauder joined us to deliver a presentation on getting the specification right.
The presentation provided an overview of the challenges facing manufacturers who want to provide information about the embodied carbon in their products, the importance of third party certification and ensuring that product data is verified, up-to-date and easily accessible to specifiers.
The Bauder team also demonstrated how they use NBS Chorus to collaborate with specifiers on their projects, providing vital knowledge of their product range and simplifying a time-consuming process for their customers.
