Customer Spotlight: How Speedclad has increased its reach with NBS
Fraser Brown, Business Development Director, from Speedclad, talked to NBS about the business’ journey and how it uses the NBS platform to get its innovative A2 rated spandrel panels in front of decision-makers at the specification stage.
Based in North Yorkshire, Speedclad is a principal and specialist contractor delivering design, supply and installation of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling and glazed facades. We caught up with Fraser Brown, Business Development Director, to find out how Speedclad is using NBS to promote its range of Speedpanel A2® products to specifiers. Here’s what Fraser had to say…
As specialist contractors, we knew there was a market need for A2 fire rated spandrel panels that didn’t compromise on aesthetics, thermal performance, durability or ease of install. We used our experience to develop Speedpanel A2® insulated spandrel panels, a reliable solution aimed at solving the common construction challenges faced by designers, specifiers, installers and building owners alike.
We recognise the importance of being able to easily access and compare technical information during the specification process, so NBS felt like a natural choice as it is the leading specification tool in the industry. Prior to our work with NBS, our exposure to specifiers was limited and relied on pre-existing relationships and market intelligence. Now we can consistently reach more specifiers than ever.
NBS puts your products in front of architects
NBS Source’s functionality makes it easy for us to manage our profile, track specifications and provide everything specifiers need in one place. The analytics function is especially useful as it enables us to better understand how specifiers are engaging with our product listings, which helps us identify how we can improve the information we are providing to better serve specifiers' needs.
The integration between NBS Source and NBS Chorus allows specifiers to make informed decisions and gives manufacturers the opportunity to really build those relationships and work in partnership with specifiers to ensure the most appropriate products are selected for each project.
"We would recommend joining NBS for the comprehensive functionality it offers, its widespread recognition within the industry and the accessibility it provides to both specifiers and manufacturers. We would also advise our fellow manufacturers to engage with and make the most of NBS' onboarding and customer success processes and make use of all the tools, training, and information available."
