Customer Spotlight: d line Eisenware on joining NBS Source

Leah Stace, Marketing Manager from d line Eisenware, spoke to the team at NBS regarding the manufacturer’s decision to join the NBS Source.

D line Eisenware is a heritage Danish design brand that conceives and handcrafts ironmongery and bathroom ware. We caught up with Marketing Manager Leah Stace to find out more about the manufacturer’s products and why it joined NBS Source.

“The Qtoo collection, launched in 2020, brings 100% recyclable taps and shower fixtures to the market - all designed to our minimalist aesthetic. We began 2022 by launching a new range of sustainable sensor taps with motion-activated technology. All steel parts are 100% recyclable and come with a 20-year guarantee.”

By combining the sleek appeal of minimalist Danish design and sustainable principles, d line Eisenware aims to provide sustainable products to architects: “Sensor taps are further a highly sustainable water saver, issuing better control over the water consumption to the building owner – to preserve and reserve water for a greater cause.

“Our installation also means our range is installed from the front, with no need for an access hatch or hidden panel.”

Joining NBS Source to spark specifier interest

“During the pandemic, we identified a need to present our products in a way they could be easily accessed and utilised by professionals. We recognised that NBS, with its professionalism and support, was the perfect partner for our sanitary ware.”

The d line team already valued a specification-led approach before they joined NBS Source: “We have a strong presence within the A&D Communities and have extended this to the contractor market over the last few years.

“Our main driver in getting our products specified involves working with the specification teams directly via our Sales Managers, who help build specifications and assist with requirements. Through NBS, we have another avenue to access specifiers.

“NBS allows us to showcase our products and keep our history very much alive. We launched a new product range with Qtoo during the Pandemic, which gave us the perfect platform for Architects to build specifications on.”

NBS Source’s analytics, in particular, was noted as a crucial feature: “The analytics allow us to review what our top products are within each monthly period, and where our products are getting specified.”

"Getting product information and data to specifiers is vital, and you need to view it as your new salesperson.”

“Having products online means architects who would perhaps have never seen or heard of your business before can find you and specify your systems. As NBS works and supports many of the top 100 architects in the UK, it made perfect sense for us to have our products listed.”

With the sustainable designs listed on NBS Source, d line Eisenware is ready to showcase its quality to architects across the UK.

“For far too long, we have been driving costs in the wrong direction and having a focus that has allowed poorly made products to be specified and easily replaced. Our industry is stronger than this and support from NBS to enhance our product data, we hope will alleviate non-sustainable offerings in the future.”
